Help Transform The Value Of Motherhood

We passionately believe that being a mother is a full time job. So we are on a mission to transform the value of the work parents do by putting mothers on our payroll. The current climate in this country does not offer women any maternity leave at all, and although there are some companies that offer leave it is on average only 10 weeks, paid or unpaid. This is unacceptable, and it is a slap in the face to all American families. Mother's should have the opportunity to raise their children and more importantly, children should have the opportunity to be raised by their mothers. More often than ever parents are in positions where they feel they have no other choice than to have a dual income, and are often putting their children in childcare. While we hold no judgments on parents that do this, we do condemn our communities for allowing the world to make it harder and harder for families to thrive. It's time that mothers are paid for the hard work they continue to do.

This fund will be used for two very specific things: 

95% will be solely used for putting mother's on our payroll for the job of stay at home mom. 

5% will be used for administrative costs, because running a company isn't free. This will cover things like the cost of running our website, registering our corporation with local and federal government agencies and to pay the people who put in the work to make all of this possible. 

The easy part is making the mission, the hard part is executing it. As an investor you're entitled to understand how we plan on making it all happen.

How do we choose who gets to participate in our program? 

This is the hardest part.. because all women deserve to be a part of this program equally. We will be opening applications once we reach our fundraising goal of $1,000,000 to mothers living in the Denver Metro Area who meet specific qualifications. These will be things such as: living in the area for more than 2 years, expected delivery date, work history from the past 2 years, and a promise to be 100% stay at home Mother. 

How do we know these mothers  are going to be great mothers? 

In simplest terms this will be heavily relying on trust. While we plan on checking in and offering support on a weekly basis, we believe all mothers want the best for their children, so why wouldn't they? 

How many families are we going to impact? 

Our goal is to reach $1,000,000. We also plan on paying mothers above the average pay for entry level positions in the US. So at $55,000/ year with a fund of $950,000 we should be able to offer 17 mothers a position at our company for 1 year. 

How long are we going to pay women for these job positions? 

1 year. Job duties include: raising the next generation, changing diapers, producing milk, cooking nutritious food, practicing patience, loving and nurturing, teaching, and other duties as assigned. 

How are we going to measure our impact on the community? 

We are going to require all participants in the program to take an in-depth survey twice during the year to share how they are being impacted by our program. These results will be summarized and shared on our website at the end of the program to help us and our investors understand the impact we are making on these families lives. Additionally we plan on continuing to stay connected to our communities and listening to how the perception of motherhood and parenthood are being viewed. Our hope is that as our program goes on, more people and organizations realize the importance of these jobs and join us in our mission to invest in them.
